3 McKinley Irvin Attorneys Listed in 2015 Oregon Super Lawyers

We are proud to announce today that three attorneys from the firm’s Portland office have been selected to the 2015 Oregon Super Lawyers and Rising Stars list.

Each year, only five percent of all attorneys in the state are selected as Super Lawyers and 2.5 percent are included as Rising Stars. This year more than half (14) of McKinley Irvin’s practicing attorneys in Oregon and Washington joined the 2015 lists – topping last year’s firm record of 11 attorneys recognized as Super Lawyers and Rising Stars.

The following attorneys from McKinley Irvin's Portland office have received recognition this year:

2015 Oregon Super Lawyers:

  • Mindy Stannard, Associate, Family Law

2015 Oregon Rising Stars:

  • Collin C. McKean, Partner, Family Law
  • Annelisa Smith, Associate, Family Law

Smith and McKean have been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers in both Oregon and Washington since 2013. It’s also the third consecutive year that Portland attorney Stannard has been recognized by Super Lawyers for her outstanding legal achievements. This is also her first year on the Super Lawyers list, having previously been selected to the Rising Stars list from 2013-2014.

“It’s an honor to have our efforts in both Oregon and Washington recognized and appreciated by the legal community,” said McKean. “We work alongside some of the best attorneys in Portland and Vancouver, so we are thrilled by these honors.”

The Super Lawyer recognition is bestowed on attorneys who are nominated by their peers for their professional accomplishments and dedication to the practice of law. Finalists are then selected using independent, third-party research to determine the top five percent highest achieving attorneys in each state. The Rising Star list is determined by the same process, but represents the most respected and successful attorneys under the age of 40 or in practice for 10 years or less.
