Pia Bloom

Pia Bloom focuses on hiring both Partners and Associates at McKinley Irvin. A strategic and experienced negotiator, she has a critical eye for matching exceptional attorneys with the needs, goals, and culture of our firm.

Pia worked as a lobbyist in New York for several elected officials, an experience which allowed her to hone her analytical and legal skills. Passionate about employment and labor law, she earned her law degree from the University of Washington School of Law and started her legal career in the HR field. In this capacity, she provided legal oversight and executive HR leadership for a multi-million-dollar company in Seattle. She later became involved as a legal consultant, providing direction and guidance to attorneys in Washington handling complex civil trials. She served as Managing Director for a local boutique legal consulting firm, where she consulted on all aspects of legal employment and recruitment matters.

Pia was raised in Northern Africa and Europe. An avid traveler who speaks several languages, Pia has traveled extensively throughout many continents. Her dream is to open a McKinley Irvin Office and retire in Sydney, Australia.
